Gadget Lab Podcast: Motorola’s Impressive Atrix HD Smartphone and the Wireless Sonos Sub

In this week’s Gadget Lab podcast, we take a look at an impressive new Android smartphone and a new wireless subwoofer for the home.

On hosting duties this episode are Reviews Editor Michael Calore and Staff Writer Nathan Olivarez-Giles. First up is the new Motorola Atrix HD, a slick $100 smartphone exclusive to AT&T that Nathan reviewed. The theme of the Atrix HD is higher-end features at a mid-range price point. Nathan and Michael break down what’s Wired (the display, design and operating system) and Tired (battery life) with Motorola’s latest. For Nathan’s full review, head over to Wired’s Reviews section.

Capping off this week’s show is the Sonos Sub, a new wireless subwoofer. The Sub is bassy, easy to use and uniquely styled, making it an attractive addition to those who’ve already purchased Sonos equipement for their living rooms. But while the Sub looks and sounds good, it’s also expensive at $700. You can check out Michael’s full review of the Sonos Sub in the Reviews section as well.
